Job Description:
Sales Account Manager reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Great Wall Semiconductor.
Responsibilities:
Develop and driving demand creation initiatives that support GWS application focus and revenue growth goals.
-Build demand creation initiatives and implement innovative account market share and revenue growth strategies for
the following target applications :
1. Synchronous rectification for dc-dc conversion, 12volt bus conversion modules and point-of - load converters.
2. Lithium ion and lithium polymer single cell for cell phone and MP3/4 players, two cell for 3G and PDA and 3 to 4
cell for notebooks.
3. Efficient voltage converters that are powered by 48volt power supplies for telecom and datacom systems including
servers, routers and networks.
4. Low power notebook computer and mobile electronic power management switches such as low-side/high-side switches
monolithic pairs, complementary monolithic pairs and single load switches where space and efficiency is a premium.
5. Low voltage motor drive applications such as full wave motor control circuits that benefit from monolithic mosfet blocks.
Define account strategies, goals and objectives to grow market share and revenues. Develop strong customer relations at all levels including procurement, design engineering and senior management. Evaluate and assessing customer needs/requirements as well as competing products and solutions and identify compelling selling points for GWS products.
Execution of sales objective including: Net trade sales, market share growth, develop and implement strategies and tactics to achieved targeted market share and revenue growth. Work with marketing communications and applications engineering to identify both short-term and long term customer requirements needed by customer.
Work with GWS CEO to establish price strategies and pricing contract negotiations. Report on a weekly basis performance to sales metrics. Prepare monthly market trends and competitor activity at customer accounts.
Organize and participate in formal supplier review process on a regular goal to achieve customer Preferred Supplier Status at all accounts. Provide direction and leadership for global team on how to penetrate accounts, maximize share and gain customer satisfaction.
Establish first point of contact process for fast response delivery and price quotations. Coordinate technical support between GWS applications and product engineering and customer procurement, design and manufacturing centers.
Qualifications Requirements:
1. Five years experience as global account manager plus BSEE degree preferred.
2. Excellent interpersonal, written communications and presentation skills.
3. Ability to interface with customers at all levels.
4. Mature & independent personality; self organized and priority focused.
5. International travel required to USA, Asia, Eurpoe and Japan.
6. Strong negotiation skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to create and manage measurable , high impact online programs in the semiconductor industry.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage applications-focused customer promotions.
9. Highly motivated and open personality, strong computer skills (Excel, Power Point).
10. Fluent in English and Chinese.
11. “Results Driven” must be capable of working without supervision.
12. A proven track record of penetrating markets and major accounts through effective “Applications Engineering”
