Job Description:

Director Regional Marketing Communications reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Great Wall Semiconductor.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute high-impact cost-effective market communication initiatives that support GWS application focus and revenue growth goals. -Build a product marcom roadmap for the following target applications :

(1) Synchronous rectification for dc-dc conversion, 12volt bus conversion modules and point-of - load converters.
(2) Lithium ion and lithium polymer single cell for cell phone and MP3/4 players, two cell for 3G and PDA and 3 to 4 cell for notebooks.
(3) Efficient voltage converters that are powered by 48volt power supplies for telecom and datacom systems including servers, routers and networks.
(4) Low power notebook computer and mobile electronic power management switches such as low-side/high-side switches monolithic pairs, complementary monolithic pairs and single load switches where space and efficiency is a premium.
(5) Low voltage motor drive applications such as full wave motor control circuits that benefit from monolithic mosfet blocks.

Identify target tradeshows and develop creative presence utilizing speaker slots, partner exhibits, testimonial press releases , support publications of technical papers and articles, establish customer training seminars and demonstration forums.

Establish and create high impact marketing product collateral packages by application to support design wins and sales growth activity. The collateral will include data sheets, product roadmaps, application notes, reliability reports, selector guides, price lists, lead times, ISO certifications, Statistical Process Control material, Quality Management System.

Establish Web based Marketing Communications program to reach the global customer market base. This Marketing Communication program will enable customers to find data sheets, application notes, reliability reports, ROHS Compliant imformation, sales contacts, distribution networks, etc.

Qualifications Requirements:

1. BS in marketing communications , MBA a plus.
2. Excellent interpersonal, written communications and presentation skills.
3. Strong “hands- on” computer skills with desire to generate collateral material.
4. Mature & independent personality; self organized and priority focused.
5. International Travel required to USA, ASIA, EUROPE and JAPAN.
6. Five years technical understanding experience in power semiconductor or electronics industry a major plus but not essential.
7. Demonstrated ability to create and manage measurable , high impact online programs in the semiconductor industry.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage applications-focused customer marcom promotions.
9. Highly motivated and open personality.
10. Fluent in English and Chinese.
11. “Results Driven” must be capable of working without supervision.
12. A proven track record of penetrating markets and major accounts through effective “Marketing Communications”
